Director’s Welcome Message

Dear Guests, it is an honor to welcome you at Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences!

This website will give you a glimpse into our College life, please, take a moment and browse our homepage. Our Internet presentation will offer further details on the College’s study programs, staff and students, and various activities that our College is involved in.

Our College was founded in 1960 and is considered one of the most well-respected state-run institutions of higher education. Has its foundation more than five decades ago, Subotica Tech has educated thousands of engineers who became the backbone of our engineering capacity and went on to build and rebuild our industry both locally and in the wider region. The educational system of our College is based on the belief that successful engineering training is only possible if academic education and practical training are intertwined: students learn about the latest scientific and technical-technological developments, but possibly more importantly, their studies focus on practice, on implementing these state-of-the-art methods and the actual work processes in engineering projects. Our College does not only teach ‘the big picture’, and how the small pieces of the puzzle fit together, but also how to create, program, optimize, repair, simulate, test, re-test those pieces.

Producing capable engineers is what makes Subotica Tech a successful institution. This is only possible by having a range of excellent staff, top-educated and motivated teachers, as well as enrolling eager and hard-working students, so as to ensure that our College carries out this mission. We aim to continue this tradition of educating students so that they find their place throughout our region’s economic landscape and become valuable members of the academic and engineering society. Enjoy discovering more about our College!

Sincerely, Igor Fürstner Director
