The international conference Symposium on Fuzzy-based Engineering Systems 2026 (SzAFARi 2026) was held in hybrid format on May 26, 2026, in Budapest at Óbuda University. Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences was one of the co-organizers of the conference.

Representing our institution in the online presentation format were Dr. Zlatko Čović, Tamás Tornai, Emili Čović, as well as our students Sonja Erdelji, Benjamin Hen, and Maria Tsurkan. The presentations of our institution’s representatives were delivered within two thematic sections.

Emili Čović received the Best Presenter Award in the Hungarian-language MSc and PhD student category.
