Who are we?

Subotica Tech - College of Applied Sciences is a public higher education institution with more than six decades of tradition in educating engineers in the fields of technical and engineering sciences. Throughout its development, it has built a distinctive identity as an institution whose educational philosophy is founded on quality, responsibility, openness, and close alignment with the needs of industry and society.

Since its establishment in 1960, the College has played an important role in the development of higher education in the Republic of Serbia. Through educating generations of engineers, continuously improving its study programmes, and maintaining strong cooperation with industry, it has contributed to developing highly qualified professionals whose knowledge and expertise support the technological, economic, and social development of the country and more specifically, our wider region, Vojvodina.

As a higher education institution, our identity is primarily based on the concept of applied engineering education while developing critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, teamwork skills, and a strong sense of professional responsibility. These skills enable students to acquire knowledge that can be directly applied in today's professional environment while.

The College continuously develops study programmes that reflect the demands of modern technological advancement and the labour market, yet adhering to high academic and professional standards. Its educational activities are focused on developing competencies that enable graduates to successfully pursue careers in industry, the public sector, and other professional fields, as well as encouraging lifelong learning and constant professional development.
