Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary field that combines mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, automation, computer engineering, and information technologies. Accordingly, the study programme has been designed to educate engineers who understand the interrelationships among different engineering disciplines, are capable of integrating mechanical, electronic, and control systems, and can solve complex engineering challenges in modern industrial environments.
