Subotica Tech College of Applied Sciences

On Friday, September 22, 2023, the formal reception of first-year students was held at the Subotica Tech College of Applied Sciences in Subotica. The event was attended by the Mayor of Subotica, Mr. Stevan Bakić. In addition to him, representatives from higher education institutions in Subotica, representatives from high schools in Subotica, Sombor, and Ada, representatives from national councils, as well as partners from companies and organizations collaborating successfully with Subotica Tech, were also present at the reception.

The attendees at the ceremony were addressed and the newcomers were welcomed by the Director of Subotica Tech College of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Igor Fürstner, the Mayor of Subotica, Stevan Bakić, the Assistant Director for Public Relations and Students, Prof. Dr. Zlatko Čović, the International Relations Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Livia Sedmina, and representatives of the Student Parliament Mate Pozder and Loretta Forггgó.

The ceremony began with the national anthem "Bože pravde" and the student anthem "Gaudemus igitur," performed by our renowned singer, Bojana Stamenov. After the 64th generation of students at the Subotica Tech College of Applied Sciences in Subotica took their oath in Serbian and Hungarian languages, Bojana Stamenov sang the song "We Are the Champions" by the band "Queen."
