Visoka tehnicka skola strukovnih studija Subotica (referred to as Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences in English) opened an International Office with three staff members who are responsible for all mobility and exchange-related tasks. The three members are the International Relations Coordinator, answering directly to the Director of Visoka tehnicka skola strukovnih studija Subotica, and two assistants. The International Relations Coordinator operates at institutional level, in close cooperation with the academic coordinators of the five study programs (informatics, mechatronics, technical communication management, mechanical and electrical engineering).
The International Office meets all the technical requirements necessary for communication and the seamless operation of the International Office. The tasks and responsibilities regarding outgoing students and staff include publishing the calls for a mobility, processing the applications, working in close coordination with the three-member committee responsible for the selection and nomination of mobility applicants.
For incoming students and staff, the tasks include processing the Learning Agreement, working in close coordination with the coordinators of the study programs. Also, issues related to accomodation, health insurance, information concerning travel arrangements, providing information about the College and the study courses fall under the responsibilities of the International Office. For Incoming staff, the International Office is the prime source of information regarding their mobility and stay, while incoming students will also be put in contact with the Student Parliament at Visoka tehnicka skola strukovnih studija Subotica and their Representative for Incoming students.
Inclusion and Support for Disadvantaged Target Groups
Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences is committed to fostering inclusion and providing support for disadvantaged target groups within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. To ensure that all students, including those from underrepresented backgrounds, have equal access to mobility opportunities, the College holds regular consultation sessions dedicated specifically to discussing the challenges, needs, and opportunities for these students.
These consultations take place weekly on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 11:00 in Room 108, International Office. During these sessions, students can receive personalized guidance on available Erasmus+ opportunities, funding options for disadvantaged groups, and practical support for mobility applications. The goal is to enhance accessibility and ensure that every student, regardless of background, can fully benefit from international academic experiences.
