The quality of the study programs is assured by the implemented procedures of quality control. This includes:

  • The process of comparison of the study program content, teaching methods and grading criteria for every subject;
  • Synchronizing the study results based on the compulsory subjects with the study results of the study program;
  • Control of students’ work load on the given subject and synchronizing the work load with the work load determined by the subject’s ECTS points;
  • Control of study program quality in light of the development of the field of science which the study program covers;
  • Comparison of the study program results are qualification with comparable study programs at higher education institution in industrially developed countries.

Each study program meets the highest quality requirements, as proven by the Confirmation of the successful accreditation. The study programs are in compliance with the Bologna system. At Bachelor level, students gain 180 ECTS points, and 60 points with a specialization. The College also recognizes ECTS points transferred from other study programs and institutions.

The College has five accredited Bachelor-level study programs in two accredited languages, Serbian and Hungarian:

  • Mechanical engineering – Bachelor of Science level, 40 students in two languages,
  • Electrical engineering - Bachelor of Science level, 20 students in two languages,
  • Informatics - Bachelor of Science level, 90 students in two languages,
  • Technical Communication Management – Bachelor of Science level, 35 students in two languages,
  • Mechatronics - Bachelor of Science level, 24 students in two languages.

The College has established procedures for confirmation, supervision and control of the study programs. The College pays careful attention to quality assurance through obtaining feedback from employers, the National employment office and other relevant organizations regarding the quality of the study programs. Part of the process of quality assurance is the Regulations on grading and the Regulations of self-evaluation and quality evaluation of the study programs, education and work conditions.
Quality control of the study programs involves the analysis of study success rates, which are based on data regarding the methods for knowledge evaluation, the level of lecturers’ preparation, students’ regular attendance, active participation in classes and, as a final indicator, the success rate of exams (grades).

The College implements the European Credit Transfer System of points (ECTS). The number of realized ECTS points indicated the quantitative measure of the work load and activities needed for the successful completion of the study program and obtaining the expected results.
1 ECTS point equals activities amounting to 25–30 hour of work by the student. Activities are set so that in an academic year the student will achieve 60 ECTS points.
The calculation is set for the academic year containing 30 active weeks, the student has 15 active weeks for exam preparation, given 40 work hours per week. Based on this, 1 ECTS point equals 28 work hours.
The overall work load for the student consists of active education (lectures, practices, seminars, etc.), individual work, tests, exams, writing final papers, and others. The expected study results for the specific subjects are defined by the accredited study programs.
The example below shows the calculation of ECTS points for the subjects Introduction to graphical communication and Technical Communication English.
