Our Aims

The College aims to:

  • provide top-level education at Bachelor level in the fields of Informatics, Mechatronics, Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering,
  • ensure successful engineering training through a combination of academic, theoretical knowledge and practical, experience-based training
  • keep abreast of the rapid development of novel technologies and meet the growing requirements of technology and science and react by using state-of-the-art technologies in their education activities
  • provide students with the skills and competences necessary to successfully enter the job market and work in their engineering field of expertise.
  • ensure that both staff and students are able to develop and further their skillset and knowledge through international mobility 
  • provide students with an education that will result in well-trained, skilled, socially responsible engineers who can utilize their knowledge obtained in their local education and through mobility in practice in various areas of engineering and industry

The aims can be only be realized if the College fosters a close relationship with representatives from the industry, drawing on engineering experience in practice both nationally and internationally. The College is dedicated to increase its level of internationalization in order to achieve the above-described aims. 

Key objectives in regard to internationalization are:
Participate and support EU programs so as to promote internationalization on institutional level, including students and staff
Support higher education activities through mobility on condition these are organized in a manner so as to ensure transferability, international comparability and recognition of achieved results (ECTS)
Realize in practice the College guidelines on recognition of achieved results (ECTS)
Encourage student and staff mobility in order to promote the advancement towards internationalization and foster competition and increase employability
Promoting intercultural learning that will widen both the professional and cultural scope of vision of our incoming and outgoing students and staff 
International industrial cooperation involving higher education in the region must be promoted


Based on the elementary tasks of the College as an educational facility, the specific, achievable and measurable goals of the College, given the institution’s available resources are the following:

  • transfer of knowledge and skills so that by completing the study program, the students obtain suitable qualifications, general, as well as subject-specific competences in order to be able to perform well in the field they are trained for,
  • constant development of the professional knowledge in the engineering fields, as well as promotion of creative and productive work,
  • ensuring the necessary professional reinforcement by fostering the younger generation,
  • enabling individuals to gain a degree and participate in lifelong learning under equal conditions
  • increasing the percentage of the population with a completed higher education degree,
  • ensure that the educational activity is in correspondence with the European system of higher education
  • support mobility of staff and students through European mobility programs 
  • adopt, promote and implement the principles of the Erasmus+ program

Specific results that the College aims to achieve:

  • realization of planned study outcomes,
  • increasing the quality of study programs, teaching process and work conditions,
  • improving the efficiency and success rate of the studies,
  • increased application of higher education pedagogical-didactic experience so as to achieve practice-oriented studying and implementation of active work and teaching methods
  • achieving a higher degree of student and staff mobility through the Erasmus+ programs
  • implementation of the experience and novel teaching methods gained through mobility experience in institutional teaching activity in order to increase the rate of knowledge transfer
  • ensuring that study results (ECTS) obtained through mobility are recognized in accordance with adopted College regulations.
