Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences is considered one of the most well-respected state-run institutions of higher education. It is our belief that successful engineering training is only possible if academic education and practical training are intertwined: students learn about the latest scientific and technical-technological developments, but more importantly, their studies focus on practice, on implementing these state-of-the-art methods and the actual work processes in engineering projects. Our College does not only teach ‘the big picture’, and how the small pieces of the puzzle fit together, but also how to create, program, optimize, repair, simulate, test, re-test those pieces.

Producing capable engineers is what makes Subotica Tech a successful institution. Exchange and mobility play a significant role in engineering education, as it provides the students with a chance to widen their spectrum of technical knowledge. The experience of mobility will promote critical thinking, independent problem solving, which are, apart from applying the attained knowledge in practice, the most crucial skills for engineering students.

Subotica Tech plays an important role in our region’s industrial and economic landscape with its specific connection to industry. Mobility through the Erasmus+ Programme is in this regard a vital tool for promoting and realizing our College’s mission, namely to provide students with a practice-oriented engineering education. In our selection of partner we are planning to work along the lines of practical application of knowledge, thus we envision exchange and cooperation primarily with other HEI focusing on applied sciences and communicating technical knowledge through practice and hands-on experience. Our key objective is to offer staff and students with mobility opportunities whereby they could gain experience by studying at various universities of applied sciences.
